By accessing or using Complete Guestlist ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Complete Guestlist is a guest list management platform that allows event organisers to:

  • Create and manage events
  • Add and organise guest lists
  • Invite promoters to add guests
  • Check in guests at events
  • Track attendance and analytics

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

Pricing

We offer various subscription tiers with different features and limits. Current pricing is available on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers. After this period, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation
  • Collect guest data for purposes unrelated to your events

6. Data and Content

Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process this data as necessary to provide our services.

Guest Data Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to collect and process guest information. You must comply with applicable data protection laws (including GDPR where applicable).

Data Export

You may export your data at any time using our export features. Upon account termination, we will provide reasonable opportunity to export your data.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Complete Guestlist and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Complete Guestlist and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason with notice. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but certain provisions of these Terms will survive.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Complete Guestlist.
  • Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
